Unwinding

After a night at work, it takes me an hour or two to really unwind to the point of being able to sleep. I'll get online or read, but sometimes I just want to crash on the couch or the lovesac and enjoy some good television entertainment. I've discovered some new shows, so this is what I've been collecting in the good ol' DVR these days.

RAISING THE BAR,
Mondays @ 8pm, TNT
Yes yes, another legal drama, only this time it's mostly from the defense perspective. I really like crime dramas, what can I say?

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE,
Wednesdays @ 7pm, Thursdays @ 8pm, FOX
Much more enjoyable than I originally thought it would be, especially when paired with ice cream, good friends, and insane laughter. I find myself wanting to watch the routines a second time.

MENTAL,
Tuesdays @ 8pm, FOX
The main character, Jack Gallagher, is the director of mental health at a hospital in LA. He's kind of like House in a psych ward, unraveling medical mysteries one episode at a time.

THE LISTENER,
Thursdays @ 9pm, KSL
Toby is a paramedic and a telepath, and he uses his ability to hear other people's thoughts to solve crimes and save people. Plus I seriously could watch him all day and not have a problem with it. His eyes are amazing.

Always nice to find new shows when your regular ones are on summer vacation.

And I thought your favorite show was anything Aliyah and Xander wanted to watch!! It was fun to see them so mezmerized by Fantasia 2000. I remember you enjoying it just as much! Wasn't that just a week or so ago??!! Time passes quickly :(
