where have I been?

I guess it's been a bit since I posted anything, so maybe I better offer some sort of update as to what I've been up to lately.

Football season is here again...a-woohoo! My Eagles started out against the St. Louis Rams and had a good game...38 to 3! Hopefully everyone can stay healthy and continue to win games. Also, the Cougars won on Saturday, as controversial as the ending minutes were, so kudos to them too. Can't wait for UCLA this week!

I've been excited that autumn is almost here. September so far has been okay, but October is my favorite month ever--leaves changing, temperatures going down, marching band, and of course, Halloween!! I've been working on my Halloween costume already, which is pretty normal for me. I usually start figuring things out in September. So the last three Halloweens, I was a vampire twice and a Jedi once. This year I'm going for the fighter pilot. And if you happen to catch me in a flight suit on a day that isn't Halloween, so be it. :)

Today was also my "graduation" for the class that I've been taking. That means that I've been through three sections in six months and am now starting those three sections over. You go through twice so you can really learn what you need to. It's a small group--there are two instructors and eight students, including me. Still, it was a little awkward to be on the spot like that. There are graduations after each section, and lucky me, I was the only one this time. Surprisingly enough, to both me and Stacey, I survived.

Really, other than that, I'm just working...living the dream...rolling my eyes.
