good times in May

I have today off from work and I've just been taking it easy. Anne said that she wanted to see more pictures on here, so I found some that would show the good things that have been going on lately. I don't actually own a camera, so I rely on what I get from my sisters and what I can find on the Net. Maybe I'll get a camera sometime this year. Then we can really have some fun...

Twice a year, Hill Air Force Base hosts Combat Hammer, where squadrons from all over the country come to train at the Utah Test and Training Range. Right now there are twelve F-15 Strike Eagles from Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, and seventeen F-16 Falcons from Shaw AFB, South Carolina that are visiting. I love it when we have guests. There's a lot of "thunder" in the skies lately and watching them come and go has brought many a smile to my face.

I was dinking around on iTunes and came across a band called The Rasmus. They're from Finland. Their chord progressions are fantastic! I've been jamming out in my car with them.

Today (May 19) is the three year anniversary of Revenge of the Sith. I love all aspects of Star Wars, but hands down, this is my favorite Star Wars episode. And yes, I did watch it today.

I had a blast earlier this month being down in St. George with my sisters and their families. Aliyah and Xander are always changing so much, and they are both so much fun to be with! Aliyah calls me "May-mee" and it just makes me laugh. We watched Signing Times and now sometimes when I'm at work, I find myself singing The Silly Pizza Song to pass the time. And Xander is so smiley! When he laughs and his face lights up, you can't help but smile too.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Aliyah and Xander. Absolutely adorable!

One of my favorite things has been seeing my sisters this month. I'm glad that we got to spend so much time together in the last few weeks. I know they're happy down in St. George, but I really miss them. Anne and Nat, you're both my sisters and my friends, and I'm lucky to have you!

So sweet! Thanks for posting some pics. :) That was funny what you wrote about singing the silly pizza song...I woke up with that in my head this morning. (Stupid Signing Time) We love having you as our sister too!
