Christmas is finally here, which means it's FINALLY almost over! Yes, I'm a Grinch (the mean one). I'm a Scrooge (bah humbug). Call it whatever you like. I am not a fan! As of this moment, only six hours and forty-five minutes left. C'mon midnight! I've been counting down all day.
I can't exactly put my finger on when I started hating today. And I have my reasons. I like most of the family stuff. It's a lot more enjoyable now that I have a niece and a nephew. Seeing their excitement brings a smile to my face. But as soon as all this Merry Mayhem starts, I start counting down the days until it ends.
I'm a fan of January. Bring it on! No holidays and plenty of snow! So how many minutes left?

So what are your reasons for hating Christmas? I've always enjoyed the holidays.
Oh, you know, there's a few. But I'm glad that you like the holiday season. Someone should. I guess I just don't like how long it lasts and all the stress and how it reminds me of how poor I really am. Those are a few. Merry Christmas, here's your bank statement. No wonder one of Christmas' colors is red (ha ha).
